JoynertwInsua turns like an oil tanker and can't defend a lick. Leaving Martin Kelly out of the side is harsh on the young man. He out played Johnson for most of the season. If no new left back is signed then Johnson will be moved left again with Kelly at right back.

Also no spot for the 35 million dollar man. What's the point of having Charlie Adam and his world class corner kicks if the big guy isn't on the pitch?

ballnotabombCarroll for me is highly overrated and I couldn't think of a way of putting him, Suarez, Gerrard, Kuyt and Adam in the same team in this formation.
