Manchester United 2-3 Athletic Bilbao

JimmyGuitaristDeserved win for Bilbao. It didn't seem to me that United didn't do there homework on Bilbao and were a bit struck with Bilbao's high-tempo, and intense pressing game. Bielsa's amazing what he does. Really puts his stamp on the teams he takes over and gets them to play Bielsa style.
Bielsa always wants a spare man at the back; so against 1 striker, he wants a 4-man-defense with the fullbacks pushing right forward. Against 2 strikers, he plays a 3-man-defence with wide-midfielders bombing up & down the wings. Here, he realised Rooney was playing more behind Hernandez, so stuck with the 4-man defence, with Iturraspe (CDM) marking Rooney.
