debo_chak4-2-3-1 often gets cramped to 4-5-1. Dirk Kyut and Stewart Downing track back to make it a five-man midfield. It leaves the traget man to fight for it all his own up front. The problem for Liverpool has been getting results in games where they are expected to win. From the days of Rafael Benitez, the Reds have adopted a compact playing style based on speedy counter attacks. They love to play with a five-man midfield, press the opponent forcing them to commit mistake and then pounce onto it. It has worked in matches against the bigger teams; but against less ambitious teams, especially playing at home, Liverpool has found it difficult to break through. Part of this problem can be attributed to the absence of inspirational captain Steven Gerrard for most of the season due to niggling injuries. His passing, be it those Hollywood passes to initiate a counter attack or some killer through balls to unlock a packed defence, was a major weapon which was dearly missed. Liverpool have done well in keeping their shape but they have been too bookish – lacking any idea when most needed. Neither of the three preferred central midfielders – Charlie Adam, Jordan Henderson or Lucas Leiva / Jay Speariing – have been given a definite duty which has compounded their midfield woes.

david1993Liverpool do have a decent back line and agger i think is one of best in England as you can see Liverpool seem to be struggling without him
lucas for me will away start ahead of spearing. i like lucas even when he was getting stick he seemed to have something. at start of season he was Liverpool best player and unfortunately got injured and Liverpool miss him.

Liverpool in summer needs to add some quality i dont think its good enough to compete for premier league but since no champions league football its going to be hard to attract the best

suarez his finishing is a bit of shock as in Holland his finishing was outstanding. i know the Holland league is not as good as England but player of his quality should be finishing better and overall play is outstanding.
Suarez needs a striker who wont drop off and will stay on shoulder of deference who will link up and score to help him out.
