M'SoupHow Liverpool would look under Andre Villas Boas.
Total in transfers IN: £20M
Likely transfer OUT: Carroll (Does not fit the system at all)
No telling if AVB would go for Ruben Rochina but with Blackburn relegated, he'd be the ideal fit for his 433. As he can be rotated into the wing and not alter the 433 system, while allowing Suarez to then play CF. (Bellamy plays left, Rochina right, in that event)
With Moutinho in, they have the precision passing in place, at midfield to properly run AVB's system. While Gerrard's own style, perfectly suits the nature of AVB's 433. Incisive passing to the deadly false 9(Suarez), while providing the occasional goal. Bellamy on the right, allows for better crossing as he is right footed. Overloading the left flank allows Suarez to present a greater threat, similar to the way Hulk and Sturridge were under Villas-Boas.
I am not a Liverpool fan but an Villas-Boas fan. On paper, he could really do wonders with Liverpool, and showcase his brilliance if given the ability to. Unlike my club; Chelsea.

M'SoupI'd like to add. Liverpool's defense is much more athletic than Chelsea's, which allows the high line to be plausible.
Where as Jon Flanagan would be the likely choice at right back because of his energy and ability both defensively and offensively. Villas-Boas is not afraid of using youth, if the youth can run his system properly.

M'SoupSoldado, I can see working in AVB's system. It requires a poacher. He'd be more money than Rochina but he could definitely work.
Aquilani could definitely work in his midfield as well. Moutinho's job is really just completing shot accurate passes. Aquilani could definitely do that.
Liverpool doesn't really need to change much. Just add a poaching forward and possibly a midfielder, if Aquilani doesn't work out.
