Oscar will take Lampard place in the field because Oscar is faster, younger, has more stamina than Lampard. Essien is getting back to his old performance which means that he should be in Mikel place because Essien is faster and has better attacking abilities although Mikel is fantastic in defense but he is very slow. Marin is the left winger because he prefer to cut to the right in the wing and shoot with his right foot. Hazard is fantastic in the player 10 position since he has the ability to beat the opposition players and also an excellent play-making abilities. Mata in the right winger because when he cuts to the left side he can lop it into the penalty box where Marin or Hazard or Torres will be waiting for the ball. Torres is the best striker in Chelsea right now, so he should be in the starting line-up. I think this is the best formation for Chelsea right now.

I said if essien is back to his old performance (2005 till 2010) he should be in the starting line-up.. but if he doesnt retain his old performance i prefer mikel in the starting line-up

chelseaboi99I think it will be Mikel instead of Essien. RDM seems to like him more plus Lampard I think will start in mid beside Mikel. Oscar will be a starter but not regularly. Plus Ramires instead of Marin. He was our best player last season. I think the front three will be Hazard-Mata-Ramires.

chelseaboi99Marin, Oscar and Azpilicueta will be super-super subs. Expect a lot of rotation next year, Barcelona style where it seems every team is different. I think with all the new guys it might take a few months for RDM to find his strongest 11.

chelseaboi99@jahblez8 I know right. Unfortunately Di Matteo seems to stick with experienced players. I would prefer Oscar over Lampard any day, same with Azpilicueta (fast, skillful) over Ivanovic (slow, no skills whatsoever).

MonzcfcGood team but I think you have mata in the wrong place. Think he should be on the left, or even central. Good team though! For me it's heartbreaking imagining no frankie lamps though haha. Elnino I liked your 1st squad, seen it above the link for this!
