I think it will be a very close title race between United, City and Chelsea, IMO Chelsea will be leading for the first half of the season, Chelsea will stumble to a few defeats then City will go top of the league then very late on in the season United will go top and this time not mess it up like the 4-4 vs Everton.

chicarooneyI don't think Montipiller will come second in the French league because Giroud is gone and Giroud carried them up the table like van Persie did with Arsenal. Can't see Norwich that far up the table because they could lose Holt and Lambert is gone but otherwise good predictions.

10.08.2012

chelseaboi99Montpellier replaced Giroud with Emmanuel Herrara who had 11 goals in 21 games in the Argentinian first season so I think they will cope and get second. Plus the Ligue 1 is really weak. Marseille is rebuilding and Lille just sold Eden Hazard.

Holt is staying at Norwich. He signed a 3 year deal in July. But Lambert is a big loss. Plus Swansea now are 16th 17th, they just sold Joe Allen to Liverpool! Big loss! Huge pickup for Liverpool though. I think they will stay 7th though.

mojojojo101England:
The title will be between the two Manchester clubs again, Spurs and Arsenal will fight for third, I don't see Chelsea being to much of a threat to any of those 4, their squad is still old and I don't thunk they have bought intelligently so far this summer. Newcastle will likely to struggle to continue last seasons form and Liverpool strike me as a team in disarray at the moment.

Lower down the table I think Wigan will repeat their feat of only performing for the 2nd half of the season, West Brom may spring a surprise if they get a good start but Norwich and Swansea will struggle after loosing their managers over the summer.

France:
Everyone is looking for Montpelier to do well again but I think they might struggle, Marseille and Lyon are still struggling to rebuild and Lille will likely struggle after loosing Hazard (and less so Cole) though picking up Martin was good for them. PSG will probably win the league but it will be pretty close, I'd like to see a Toulouse spring a surprise, not too sure it will happen though.

Germany:
Dortmund and Bayern will storm away with it again, Schalke will put up a decent fight for 3rd but the quality those two have over others in the division is getting wider. Looking forward to seeing Reus play for Dortmund especially.

Italy:
Juventus, in all likelihood, will storm away with the trophy, they already had a very good squad but have added even more quality (Conte being banned might put that at risk), the race for 2nd will be tight, Milan, Udinese, Lazio and maybe Napoli (depending on how the deal with loosing Lavezzi) could all get that spot. Inter and Palermo will struggle, both have lost key players and despite bringing in some quality the disruption at those clubs over the past year and half is not helping.

Spain:
Meh, Real, Barca, who cares. Until Bielsa decides to start playing Óscar De Marcos as a left wing-back again I won't be watching an Spanish football.

nvrI can't see Tottenham doing as well as they did under Redknapp. Chelsea do not have the squad depth to fight at all competitions they are going to be in. I am betting on a surprise team for a top 4 finish this year, probably it will probably be between Sunderland, Newcastle and Liverpool.

City will get a second title on the trot. United didn't do enough in the transfer market to overcome the gap. They will still be the runners up though. Arsenal will end up 3rd, comfortably.
