Ole Gunner1. Cesc and Chamakh played really close together and combined very well for the 2nd game in a row.
2. But it wasn't just Chamakh & Cesc. As the graphic shows, Arsenal's 5 creative players were clustered together and combined very crisply, very quickly & very incisively.
3. Arsenal dominated central midfield and played through Braga at will. Arsenal won the ball back very quickly and very quickly launched attacks. Arsenal completely conceded the wide positions and played very narrow.
4. For the last 2 seasons, the Arsenal full backs have been required to provide width in attack. This season it seems they've been told to hold their positions & not get forward as much.
5. With Cesc playing so high up the field, it's no surprise he's been in devastating form.

ZolaFunny to see Arsenal fans using words like "destroy" for the teams in earlier stages of the CL. Don't we all know how this movie ends? Arsenal plays beatiful football and scores a lot against minors, and crashes out against the first team that man up.

nvrAt the same time this is the Braga that knocked Celtic and Sevilla out of the competition to date. Not your typical "minor".
