4-4-2 Diamond

StephenLongDiamond version of the 4-4-2 formation. Contains a holding midfielder in front of the back four. Full backs encouraged to get forward as there are no wingers as such. 2 center midfielders are encouraged to spread the play to the wings so play does not remain one-dimensional and narrow. Attacking midfielder offers support to the front men and also acts as the 2nd lie of defence.
