david1993people please comment if you think the English talents coming through the ranks are been coached differently and will they be better in future than the current players? please use players to help explain?

ZolaThey are, of course, being coached differently. Coaching methods evolve constantly and the FA are quite on top of their game passing new methods down to coaches and managers at all levels.
Perceived lack of talent among English players at this point in time, is more due to cultural factors than coaching.

mojojojo101The problem is not the way young kids at big clubs and big acadmies are being coached, the trouble is getting those players in the first team of the top teams in the country.
The problem, in my opinion, is with fans. Fans in England in my opinion are do not appreciate technical quality enough, especially in the defensive areas of the pitch, as a result teams are roundly criticised when they try and pass out from the back and defenders are regularly encouraged to 'just smash it up the pitch'.
Then there is the fact that everyone associated with the Premier League is far to imaptient. Managers simply can't risk starting up projects and medium-->long term plans because they know as soon as they get a couple of bad results the fans start booing and they're out the door.
As far as how to solve this problem well I'm not sure on how. But I think that getting some half-decent pundits on programs like MotD as well as changing attitudes at sunday league and other grass roots games have to play a part.

david1993i agree fans are to quick to judge and for technical quality they appreciated them when their established players not kids learning the trade.
i think that all clubs should have to have a minimum of 4 english players in their starting 11.
their more technical gifted players coming through the ranks.
Barkley
Redmond
Jesse lindgard

ZolaPremier League has an home grown rule, you can only have 17 players in your squad who are not eligible for British national teams. Even this rule caused quite a bit of controversy among political circles. Make it 4 English in starting line ups and you are looking into big fines from EU. It is against the free movement of labour rules.
As an interesting side note, there's no significant change in England's record after the Bosman rule.
