gazlfcforeverMan utd are vulnerable to a high pressing 3-4-3 formation. Both Athletic and Wigan have deployed this system and found it works successfully against utd. A high line is required with a spare man at the back with high pressing, defensively this also works well since utd use a full back and winger in tandem allowing quick counters in the space behind the centre backs. Quick wide men are required to deploy this formation and a big centre forward would be useful to expose utd's weakness in the air and the goalkeeper at crosses/corners.

king1319I think this formation is lethal against lots of teams, you need a positive approach as apposed to napolis 343. But it matches really well vs man u. esp if you have one of the cbs able to follow rooney everywhere
