England's Starting IX (without Rooney)

The_Black_MambaThis XI is based on form and nothing more, I have included players who Hodgson over looked, Carrick for Barry and Richards for Johnson. The subs would be: Green, Baines, Lescott, Gerrard, the Ox, Lennon, Holt, Defoe. I have replaced Downing with Lennon and Carroll with Holt.

And I agree, Carrick should have definitely replaced Barry. Also, Richards, Jagielka and Lennon should all be in the squad. Walcott and Terry shouldn't.
