Amadaeus15Possession football. This formation will compact the midfield and allow space for the fullback to push forward providing the width if necessary.

chelseaboi99Thank god your not manager...

Amadaeus15@chelseaboi99

What is wrong with this formation?

07.08.2012

king1319Would kill eams in seria A

08.08.2012

chelseaboi99Dembele is no where near Man Utd quality, Cleverly still has a bit to go. Nani and Young would be better choices. Also your two fullbacks are ultra attackers. I think Evra and Valencia would only play as full backs against very weak teams. Jones and Rafael are more preffered than Valencia at rightback.

Amadaeus15@Chelseaboi, that shows what you know about football.

1st.) Dembele is united quality. Unlike Chelsea we find gems and sculpt them into better player than they were before. Dembele average the 2nd highest successful tackle, and was top ten in key passes, through balls, and dribble. He is United quality.

2nd.) Cleverley was immense in the midfield for team gb. I would prefer to put scholes there, but with scholes age, I am looking for a consistent performer rather than a player who would player ever other game.

3rd.) Nani or young does not/can not fit into this formation, unless in the cam role.

4th.) Evra will not play at fullback for just weak team. He was our captain, and played the majority of our games against strong opponent last season. Valencia and rafeal can alternate in the RB spot. They are capable of providing the width I need, and tracking back. Carrick, Dembele, and Cleverley can cover for their respective fullback if needed.

Amadaeus15The only thing wrong with this formation is the lack of Ferdinand and Vidic who I left out purposely.

08.08.2012

chelseaboi99I meant Valencia as a full back against weak teams. My bad. And even though I disagree with you I respect your opinion.

09.08.2012

chelseaboi99Not Evra.

09.08.2012

EL NINO#9i agree with @chelseaboi99

09.08.2012

Amadaeus15@chelseaboi I agree that Valencia is lacking positional awareness in this position, however so far in pre season, he has impressed. Rafeal would probably be preferred as he is a natural RB. We will just have to see who is efficient. I have been very impressed with valancia though in pre season.

09.08.2012

chicarooneyGood idea if you had Ferdinand and Vidic in your team.

WHU_OAKMIDGETAre you on crack?

12.08.2012

Amadaeus15Explain midget?

12.08.2012

Proffessional_Ameteur_REDI think either Valencia or Rafael could play as a lone wide man effectively - Valencia has done ok when asked to fill in at RB in the past.

15.08.2012

Proffessional_Ameteur_REDWhat about this? Not very Fergie, and doesn't utilise Nani or Young. God knows how Fergie is going to keep Rooney, RVP, Welbz and Hernandez happy! (+ Berbatov! haha)
