RedrebelI have noticed that a lot of people like this formation. AC Milan has used it to become champions and if you observe you can see that the midfield is well protected and creativity looks evident. But, I see one problem the striker can be easily isolated and he will be marked most of the time by 2 defenders. The attacking midfielders have to be in constant motion or else they will also be isolated and their attack is going to be nothing dangerous. Defensively I think this formation is very solid, but in my opinion this is a hard formation to play. What you do think about this formation?

i agree it's a difficult formation to play because it requires lots of coordination specially for the offensive moves, unless you have dynamic midfielders and fast full backs who can cross ball decently. i remember manchester united using this formation a few seasons ago in some matches with ruud up front an giggs and rooney as CAM. i don't think it got the best of man utd but it's always interesting to watch, anyone remember any other team using this formation?
