CaptainGerardWe recently signed Glen Johnson from Pompey. No doubt he is good but I can't say this was money well spent. I guess what we really need is someone to back up Torres and we do not have the funds anymore.

nvrMan U is set to sign Micheal Owen. Not a bad move for either side. Owen stays in top flight and gives himself a chance of regaining his spot in national team ahead of World Cup. Man U get a proven striker on the cheap with a pay as you go deal.
