I think the roles in this lineup really suit each player, and is similar to what we saw in the (mostly) dominant performance against Jamaica - Dempsey and Donovan are both allowed into central playmaking positions where they've thrive...

This lineup is what we saw against Mexico in the Gold cup final. I'll say it again - the issue in that match was that the USA didn't press so Mexico had time on the ball, but they didn't sit deep, so they had space in behind our defen...

Width comes from full backs and Henderson pushing wide. Henderson has the engine to go wide and still track back and recover defensively. Crosses come from Suarez, Johnson, Henderson, and Enrique into Carroll. Gerrard can feed Suarez in behind the de...

Wouldn't beat the born in London team but still pretty good squad. Flannagan, Gosling, Muphy, Guthrie, Hibbert, Nolan as cover.Could give the Scotland, Ireland, Wales, N. Ireland team a run for their money.

Cissokho and Downing can be replaced with whoever we do bring in in those positions. The team looks good though and with good signings for left back and a winger or two it really looks like Liverpool are going to be back on top!

this is just to show where we are desperately in need of improvements. left back spot is crucial together with a centre back since agger will hardly play more than 15 games a season.plus the midfield area needs strengthening, i'd rather have ...

England introduce Rachel Yankey for Jess Clarke at half-time, and Eniola Aluko for Kelly Smith after 62 minutes. The three attacking midfielders come slightly narrower, and four minutes later England are 2-0 in front - Ellen White brings ...

This match really was attack vs. defence. I was suprised at how defensive Mexico were, because they're usually a side what tries to win games in style. But Chile were that side in this game. They played excellent, by far the best team so far at t...

This is the team i believe we will play at Old Trafford. A 4-4-2 with Ashley Young playing very advanced and Rooney playing just behind Chicharito, but dropping back when unnecessary to link up with Anderson and Fletcher.
